Dave first was licensed in California almost 35 years ago. As an independent broker, Dave was a broker/owner of Los Gatos Properties for more than 15 years. Dave and Gina are extremely excited to have their daughter Kristin move to Ashland and join the family business!
Dave has built his business on a solid reputation of service, honesty and integrity. Whether you are moving across town or to another state, or purchasing a piece of investment property, the experience is always challenging and encompasses 'a bazzillion' details and decisions. A real estate transaction can be especially intimidating with a myriad of documents, disclosures and financial issues.

Phone: 925-895-3321Send Kristin a message.With over 15 years of experience as a Real Estate Consultant, embarking on a career in real estate was a natural choice for Kristin. She was born and raised in the Bay Area, where her parents were both Real Estate Brokers in Los Gatos, California. She obtained her California Real Estate license in 2000 and practiced Real Estate in the California Bay Area for almost a decade. In 2014 Kristin and her family moved to Ashland Oregon where she obtained her Oregon Real Estate license and joined her mother and father in their family real estate business.
Kristin graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University Chico, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and International Business. She then worked as the Marketing Director for the largest tile and stone subcontractor in the Bay Area before diving into the California Bay Area Real Estate market in 2005.
By integrating her background in marketing, with the needs of her clients to market and sell their home, she provides a complete package. During the last 14 years Kristin has represented a diverse group of buyers and sellers and has developed a depth of knowledge in the high-end market, investment properties, first time buyers as well as short sales and bank owned properties (REO’s).
On a personal note...The McKean Family is active in the local community. Kristin has been the team leader for The American Cancer Society's Annual Breast Cancer Walk for the past eight years. Her husband, Chris, is very active in the local baseball scene and is currently coaching the SOU women’s softball team, the Ashland High School Baseball and Little League. They are raising a beautiful daughter, Kaya, and two very active sons, Connor and Liam.
Customer service is paramount….In addition to her commitment to customer service she has developed a high level of negotiation skills and a keen sense of strategy on how to market a home for sale as well as negotiate the best deal for her buyers.

Currently as Idea House Consulting, her focus is on interior design, specializing in material selections for new homes and remodels. She is a Certified Sustainable Building Advisor and has been a “green team” member on dozens of Earth Advantage certified homes. Working with Dave and Kristin, she participates with Sellers staging homes for sale; and she assists Buyers with ideas and resources for making their new home unique, functional, and beautiful.
